Te Hikoi Southern Journey Museum

Te Hikoi is the town’s modern museum located on the main street, and is the jewel in the town’s attractions; receives excellent reviews. For more information on what to expect on your visit, and upcoming temporary exhibitions, go to www.tehikoi.co.nz, or contact them to make a group booking.

An information centre service also operates here for you to make bookings and it has a retail area for gifts and souvenirs. The local newspaper “The Western Star” is also based here, as is the Riverton Heritage Society where people can get assistance with historic research.
